The Sts’ailes Development Corporation Trustees were officially assigned at the Sts’ailes Finance Retreat in November 2009.

Amy Charlie has an educational background that is about making a difference in our children’s lives. She has received her Family Child Care Certificate, Early Childhood Education Certificate, Special Needs Diploma and most recently gained a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology.  Now with the Sts'ailes Community School as the Post Secondary Worker, Amy works with the Community members to help them with their journey into post secondary education.

Cheryl Charlie has been in education for 22 years and today teaches the Box Program at Chehalis Community School. She certified in Drug & Alcohol Counseling and Aboriginal Shield Facilitation. Cheryl has been active in youth and women’s soccer for many years as a coach, manager and advocate for sportsmanship and fair play. Her involvement with ASRA, NAIG & NIFA has earned her teams winning 2 gold medals and 2 international competitions to Europe and Cuba. She is committed to working for the Sts’ailes membership and has served on Council for 5 terms. She holds the Finance Portfolio and sits on the Finance Committee. With the recent ratification of the Sts’ailes Financial Law Policy comes the commitment for the Finance Committee to act as the trustees for the band. Cheryl is a proud member of Sts’ailes and has family roots that connect her to the Okanagan.
